Original WW2 Medic Yoke & Modified Field Bag
This is a relatively unique item that looks to be field made by a WW2 medic. It consists of an original WW2 medic yoke sewn onto a set of two cargo packs which themselves have been sewn together, likely to allow for carrying for first aid items than the standard two medic bags would allow for. I\'ve never come across another one in over a decade of collecting and dealing.
Condition: Fair, with significant wear from age and likely extensive field use. This includes some of the sewing between the yoke and pack having come loose, a few straps have been cut off the packs, there is some fraying on the packs, and the rubber insert has dried and cracked in a few spots (see pictures). The yoke itself is in better shape, with no holes, tears, frays, or missing hardware, but it does feature normal wear. The cargo pack flap is stamped: The Meyer Company 1945.
This would make a rare and relatively unique piece to add to your collection, so don\'t miss out on this one!!
