WW2 U.S. Army Steel Canteen- Dated 1943
Condition: Excellent, with only a few dents and regular wear from age and use. The cap is free from cracks.
The canteen is the rare, earlier variant featuring the welded neck. The design was discontinued early on because the spout had a tendency to break off if the canteen was dropped a certain way. It is stamped U.S.G.P.&F. CO.1943 on the bottom. These early, welded neck canteens are difficult to find, especially in this condition, so don't miss out on this one!!
