This is a silver gelatin photograph that is 8 x 6 inches (205x150mm).
It shows a line of Douglas Boston bomber aircraft on an airfield. Groups of airmen in uniform are gathered on the ground beside the planes. The nearest aircraft has a large letter 'C' painted on its fuselage, and a crew member is visible in the top gun turret.
The reverse has a sticker for 'The Aviation Picture Library, Austin J. Brown, LBIPP' in West Ealing, London. A handwritten note reads 'B-25'. A red stamp indicates it is an 'RAF Museum Photograph' with a reference number 'P013105'. Further text notes 'Reproduction forofferden without prior consent from: Dept. of Aviation Records, RAF Museum, Aerodrome Rd., London, NW9 5LL'.
