Published for military personnel as a practical guide to spoken French during WWII. The booklet includes illustrated pronunciation and language instruction throughout and bears a 1944 U.S. Government Printing Office marking on the back.
Inside the front is handwritten “WWII” along with the name “Frederick Martin Marble.” No independent military service history or provenance for the named individual has been verified.
