WWI US Model 1913 1917 English Enfield Remington Bayonet + Scabbard TR1328 For Sale

WWI U.S. Model 1913 English Enfield Bayonet made by Remington. Measures 21.75" overall, blade is 17". Very good blade showing light handling wear. Ricasso area of blade stamped with 1913/ 5-17/ Remington in a circle. (5-17 is a May 1917 date). Obverse side is stamped with British Proofmarks/broad arrow, etc. Very good walnut grips with excellent working press-stud. The scabbard shows leather surface wear with a stamp that looks like "Ca. 1929 W", which meant that this was reconditioned in 1929 with "W" standing for Waxed, and most likely seeing use in WWII. The locket has a little looseness.This bayonet was made under British Contract by Remington for the British Pattern 1914 Rifle. See photos for further details.
