Offered here is an original WWI-era U.S. Army M1910 canteen set, pairing an aluminum canteen with its matching khaki cover — both dated to 1918.

• Aluminum canteen with the classic kidney/crescent shape, stamped "T.J.W.B.M." and dated 1918, with original screw cap
• Khaki canvas cover, stamped inside the flap "BRAUER BROS. MFG. CO., 10-18" — confirming manufacture by Brauer Bros. and dating production to October 1918
• Correct two-flap, double-snap closure on the cover
