Hello, Up for sell is this :In 1916 Germany introduced the close - fitting full face \"Gummimaske\" gas mask, standard spectacles with long wire arms broke the seal of the mask and let the gas in, if the soldier took his glass off, he couldn\'t see, the German army solved it with the Maskenbrille/mask glasses.The glasses future round wire rim with very short 25 mm folding side arms, each arm ends in a hinged slotted metal plate with adjustable grey cotton tape that loops around the ears, the tape doesn\'t interfere with the gas mask seal.The glasses come in metal case marks \"OPTAL\".The glasses are in good preserved original condition, with good lenses.
