You are buying an authentic, original WWI British Pattern 1907 (P1907) sword bayonet. Designed for use with the iconic .303 caliber Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE) rifle, this blade served through both WWI and WWII. Condition Details:
Blade - Features the traditional long fuller (blood groove). Displays an honest, dark age patina with light surface spotting. The edge is intact with no major edge nicks or grinding damage.Markings - Hand-stamped on the reverse ricasso with the serial/tracking numbers \"25765\". The manufacturer\'s stamp on the opposite side is faint or worn away from historical service cleaning.Hilt & Handle - The muzzle ring, straight crossguard, and bird\'s-head pommel show age-related oxidization and a deep dark patina. The push-button locking catch mechanism is intact. Wood grip scales show typical battle scars, handling wear, and minor bruising but remain solidly attached via original screws.
