You are offerding on a very rare vintage original 1945 AustralianArmy Combat Boots (Pattern 10085) With Jungle Cleats in brown-red leather.
This pair of WWII leather boots are featuring toe caps, heel iron plates and leather heels and soles. In addition they have brass"Jungle Cleats" which were added to improve grip in muddy conditions.This type of sole was used during the Second World War by the Australian Army and elite units including theSAS and the Commandos.
**Important note about the size:
This pair is size 9 UK (44 EU / 10 US). I am size 44 EU (10US) and they are quite tight on my foots so I recommend that if you plan towear these boots, they are more suitable to foot size 43 EU (8 UK, 9 US).They have many marks & date stamps:
The exterior leather feature War Department government issueBroad Arrow stamps and the letter: T
The interior soles are also stamped with the British BroadArrow mark and the letter P
The date marked on the soles is 1945

The makers code boots are a matching pair and are in good used conditionfor their age. There are signs of wear to the exterior leather and the soles. Norepair marks.These boots are hard to find. This would be a great item foractual use at reenactments or living history events and will complete your WW2field gear collection.A "must have" for your vintage Military collectionor for any WWII British or Commonwealth reenactor.
