WW11 British Military Royal Navy Leather Cordite Carrier With Armorial Crest:

This is a superb example of a WW11 Royal Navy Cordite Carrier (aka Clarkson Case) which features the Royal Coat Of Arms. It has a cylindrical body with a stitched leather handle secured with brass fittings and the underside of the base is stamped No.57 III BH & G Ltd 7-1941. It measures 27 cm high and the base has a diameter of 16 cm. It weighs 0.96 kg. The carrier is in good condition considering its age and use, showing signs of limited ware and some small paint spots as can be seen in the photographs.
