EXCELLENT cond - An authentic early WW1 circa August 1914 French anti-German satirical propaganda postcard. The vibrant colored sketch is dated Août 1914 and signed by the artist d\'Amy. The illustration features a grotesque, wild-eyed female warrior caricature representing \"Germania\" wearing a spiked Pickelhaube helmet and scale armor. The top header reads \"A la façon de la Germanie\" (In the manner of Germany) while she aggressively brandishes a rifle and a massive, blood-stained serrated bayonet sword over the severed heads and bodies of innocent civilians, including a priest. The bottom caption reads: \"Voilà ma bravoure! Je tue les enfants!\" (Here is my bravery! I kill children!), directly attacking the early war atrocities and war crimes committed during the German invasion of Belgium and Northern France. The reverse side functions as a classic French \"Carte Postale\" showing a faint, blind-stamped publisher logo for E. Le Deley of Paris (ELD) in the lower left corner. The card is completely unposted, free of contemporary handwriting, and remains in excellent, clean antique condition with sharp corners — see scans of both sides. If you are collecting Antique or Vintage postcards for their future value, then beware of reproductions, as only GENUINE ORIGINAL ones like ours will substantially increase in value!
