WW1 British Gas Rattle, 1918 Dated For Sale

First, let me just say that I am a collector, NOT a dealer. All of my items come from my long time collection. A nice example of a WW1 gas rattle/alarm. Used to warn troops of the presence of gas in the trenches. This one is British made and marked/dated 1918. I'm sure these were used by U.S. troops as well as several divisions initially trained in British sectors. measures 10 1/2 x 4 x 1 1/4 inches not including handle which is 4 1/2 inches. Has a crack at one of the bolts but still functions fine. great piece for your trench display. *** U.S. SHIPPING ONLY. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO offerDING AS ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THANK YOU.
