Vintage West Germany Jumbo Heart Reflector Indent Glass Christmas Ornament – Approx. 6”
Wonderful oversized vintage West German blown glass Christmas ornament, measuring approximately 6 inches long.
This unusual ornament features a large, deeply molded silver reflector indent with a striking gold heart at the center accented by red flame/foliage detailing. The reflector is surrounded by an aqua/seafoam green glass body decorated with textured dark mica/glitter foliage and white hand-painted scroll and crackle-style decoration.
The ornament has an elongated teardrop/oval form with a small pointed glass tip at the bottom. The original-style metal cap is clearly marked WEST GERMANY.
An especially decorative and unusual example of vintage West German reflector glass.

Condition:
Vintage condition with substantial age-related wear to the decorative finish. There is visible crazing/crackling, paint and finish loss, spotting, discoloration and loss to portions of the applied mica/glitter decoration. These appear to be surface/finish issues rather than cracks through the glass; no obvious structural crack or major glass chip is visible in the photographs. Please review all photos carefully, particularly the close-ups, as they are an important part of the condition description.
Despite the finish wear, the ornament displays beautifully and retains its unusual large reflector with gold heart centerpiece.
