Stunning Vintage Thai Hand-Carved Wood Wall Panels, Complete Set of 4, Black & Gold Gilt
This is a breathtaking, complete matching 4-panel set of vintage Southeast Asian open-fretwork wood carvings. These beautiful panels feature a sleek, modern matte black finish, intricately hand-painted with brilliant metallic gold gilt accent linework that catches light wonderfully.
The panels depict traditional, elegant celestial Apsara figures (deities/dancers) in dynamic poses. The figures are adorned in traditional pointed Chada crowns and ornate textiles, surrounded by scrolling clouds, floral motifs, and a musician playing a flute.
Crafted in a beautiful pierced open-frame or "fretwork" silhouette style, these look spectacular hung directly on a wall, allowing your wall color to show through the negative space. They make an instant, high-impact focal point for a living room, hallway, or dining space.
These are each 20”H X 7.5” W X 0.25”D
This 4-piece set is in Excellent Vintage Condition. The wood frames are structurally strong and intact across all four panels with no split seams, breaks to the inner openwork, or missing pieces. The gold paint detailing remains crisp, sharp, and highly vibrant.
