Vtg Shawnee Ceramic Puss \'n Boots Cream Pitcher Hand Painted 1940\'s For Sale

Vintage Shawnee Pottery Ceramic Puss \'n Boots Cream Pitcher. This creamer was made in the 1940\'s, discontinued in 1950 and is part of a pattern of serverware set Shawnee made. It stands 4 3/4\" tall, 5 1/2\" from handle to spout and is 3 1/2\" wide. It will hold 12 fluid ounces. This sweet little kitty is textured to appear to be wearing a knitted shawl and boots. There is a hand painted red bow on the side of the shaw and the boots are trimmed in blue on the top. He is a very happy cat with a big open smile for the cream to pour from. His facial features are painted in dark brown/black and the inside of his ears are red. There are 2 discolored scratches on the inside bottom that seem shallow as they aren\'t cracks that go through to the outside (please view last photo). The bottom is impressed with \"Patented Puss \'n Boots and U.S.A.\" Besides the scratches he is in excellent condition with no damage, chips, cracks, repairs or crazing.
