The lid features a finely hand-painted architectural panorama of Vladimir, one of Russia's historical Golden Ring cities. The artwork uses rich golden, amber, and yellow tones with luminous mother-of-pearl or metallic foil underlays beneath the sky and cathedral domes to capture light brilliantly.
