The product is a set of five vintage retro AnchorHocking-Fire-King 9\" dinner plates in a Turquoise Blue color. Collectorsmay refer to Turquoise Blue as Turquoise Delphite. These round plates were createdfrom milk glass, and Anchor Hocking added a blue colorant to the molten glassmixture, officially named Turquoise Blue. Produced between 1956 and 1959 in theUnited States, these oven-safe plates are heat-resistant because they are madeof borosilicate glass. To indicate their heat resistance, these plates werestamped on the back with the words \"Oven Ware.\" These plates areperfect for any occasion and capture the 1950s. With a deep dish of 1/2 inchand a weight of 5 lbs. 10 ounces, these original Fire-King turquoise blue platesare a collectible piece for any kitchen enthusiast.
