Vintage Pyrex Flameware No. 7756 6-cup glass stovetop coffee percolator made by Corning Glass Works. This classic clear-glass Flameware percolator features the distinctive removable clear glass handle with stainless steel band and dates to the mid-century era. The Corning Museum of Glass dates the 7756-style six-piece Flameware percolator to 1952–1979.
This example is complete, including:
* Pyrex glass 6-cup coffee pot
* Pyrex 7756-C glass lid
* Clear Pyrex glass handle with stainless steel band
* Inner glass coffee basket
* Glass pump/stem with wide glass base
* Perforated metal coffee basket plate
* Perforated metal basket cover
The lid is marked 7756-C A-24, and the clear handle carries the molded 77-H marking. The pot is marked Pyrex 6 Cup Made in USA on the bottom.
The small flea bites/chips on the lid have been photographed closely and are reflected in the price. They do not prevent the lid from seating on the pot or interfere with the percolator’s function.
A particularly nice vintage Pyrex piece for a Flameware collection, mid-century kitchen display, or for someone looking for a complete 7756 rather than an example missing the frequently lost glass pump or basket components.
