This is a vintage Napco "Flower Girl of the Month" porcelain figurine representing February. This one has a small chip on one petal of the purple Violet she is holding (See photo)
Figurine Details & ContextManufacturer: Produced by National Potteries Corporation (Napco), a company highly popular mid-century for its collectible ceramic giftware and head vases.
Design Series: This piece belongs to the beloved Flower Girl of the Month collection, which featured small porcelain girls dressed in white gowns adorned with the respective birth flower for each month.
The February Theme: As indicated on the original gold scalloped hang-tag, the designated birth flower for February is the Violet. The figurine itself features delicate porcelain cosmos flowers tucked into her hair or dress.
Material: Crafted from delicate Bone China, which gives it a slightly translucent, fine quality. These figures were typically manufactured in Japan during the 1950s or the original metallic gold hang-tag intact significantly preserves its value, as these fragile paper and foil tags were easily lost over the decades.
Please inspect photos closely as this figurine is sold as is given its age. These are small figurines with lots of detail and it’s hard to tell if the figurine is missing a little paint or if it’s a flea bite chip.
