This rare and beautiful vintage Hawaiian shift dress from maker Moana Kai of Honolulu, Hawaii
Features huge oversized white chrysanthemum flowers on a bright red cotton barkcloth. This sleeveless shift style was especially popular in the mid century and Mauana Kai was, and still is, one of the most sought after makers.
Condition is excellent. With the exception of the label which suffers from wear making the “M” in Moana practically illegible, this dress itself is without visible signs of wear.
