Antique - or *Vintage *almost antique - 1920’s- early 1930’s heavy brass Silent Butler Crumb Catcher Tray and wood handled brush of natural fibers (horse hair?)

Stylized Repoussé/Embossing (1920s–1930s Art Deco Transition)
• The Pattern: The stylized, symmetrical floral/snowflake medallion stamped into the center of the tray leans toward the late Art Nouveau or early Art Deco movement.
• The Texture: Rather than being hand-hammered (which is typical of the late 1800s), the brass pattern has the crisp, uniform definition of a mechanical factory press stamp. This technology boomed in industrial manufacturing during the interwar period.
