This stunning Japanese export ginger jar features a beautiful green background with a floral blossom vine pattern that appears to be either lotus or clematis with faux cloisonne accents and will make a wonderful addition to your collection.Please read complete details below and review photos closely for condition. • Measures approximately 4.5\" x 4.5\" x 6\"
• Approximate weight is 15.4 oz
• Condition: In vintage pre-owned condition and in overall good shape but it does have at least one tiny spot that is either a factory blemish or a chip/ding...I am guessing it is where there was a small ding in the greenware form before it had the floral transfer applied because when viewed with a jeweler\'s loupe you can see where the green color flows down into the void which wouldn\'t be the case if it was chipped after leaving the factory. However, please review the photos for details as that is just my opinion and please make sure you are ok with the condition before purchasing. In addition, it has typical wear from handling including dirt, dust, grime, dulling, fingerprints, retail sticker remnants on the bottom and light abrasions overall and some inconsistencies in the transfer print/glaze details which are typical for this style of ceramics.
