This charming mid-century set features a full deck of 52 cards along with 2 identical traditional Italian jester/clown Jokers.A pocket-sized, rigid "tuck-in" style case wrapped in rich brown/tan genuine leather. It features exquisite, ornate Florentine gold-leaf tooling with a deeply contrasted black and cream Renaissance scrollwork frame on the front cover and back. The top lid relies on a traditional secure tuck flap that slides seamlessly underneath a leather cross-strap.Miniature scale, perfect for travel, solitaire (patience), or display. They feature clean, minimal indices on the faces and traditional Italian styling on the court/joker illustrations.Excellent vintage condition.
