This original wall piece beautifully reflects the spirit of Eskimo and Chukchi folk art, created in the 1980s in USSR.
Authentic vintage Arctic folk art wall panel depicting a romantic native scene of a man and woman gathered by a warm campfire under a crescent moon and starry night sky, handcrafted with stitched l a t h e r, s u e d e, straw/fiber textures, and natural f u r trim (measures approx. 37 × 27 × 0.8 cm / 14.5" × 10.6", weight 409 g). This rare North ethnic artwork is in original, unrestored vintage condition, including wear to the upper fur border and surface marks/stains consistent with age—a truly striking piece of indigenous folk history for eclectic, rustic, or boho interiors.
A truly beautiful and meaningful piece of art from the North — ideal for collectors of Inuit, Chukchi, or Arctic folk art.
