Vtg Handpainted Russian Matryoshka Nesting Dolls Wooden 19 -Pc Signed - LOVELY. For Sale

Large and lovely set of vintage Russian nesting dolls. A great rare find. Tallest doll is 14” tall. The bottom of the biggest doll is signed in a lovely fancy script writing. I will do my best to describe any known flaws. The biggest doll does have some sort of smudge on the back of her head - this is in no way visible unless you turn her around and look. From the front, she looks perfect. There is a smaller doll that does have damage to the top half. There is another doll that has a split on the bottom half. I have also included a tiny doll that only has the top half just because it was with the rest of the set. I have tried to show damage in photos. Some of the dolls fit more tightly than others . This is a very lovely large set - as shown. Rare to find a set this large and hand signed.
