Offered for your consideration is a delightful vintage early 2000s Ganz \"Bella Casa\" fine ceramic individual miniature piggy bank / decorative character savings bank. Meticulously designed by celebrated contemporary pop-artist Susan Paley within her highly coveted and collectible whimsical giftware series, this striking \"Petunia the Pig\" statement piece showcases an ultra-cozy cottagecore, colorful Dopamine Decor, or premier Grandmillennial open-shelf nursery styling aesthetic. It coordinates flawlessly as an eye-catching desktop coin keeper, a playful children\'s vanity dresser accent, or a standalone colorful showcase trophy nested inside a sunlit kitchen hutch display shelf.
The fine ceramic pottery body features an elegant, low-profile plump bulbous pig silhouette blanketed in a rich, high-gloss vitrified glaze. The exterior canvas is masterfully hand-painted utilizing Susan Paley\'s signature colorful color-block motifs—showcasing a sunny amber-yellow polka-dot face transitioning across a lime-green stitched divider band into a rich plum-purple rear jacket blanketed in line-drawn white and teal wildflower blossoms. Completed by a clean factory coin slot along the upper spine ridge and a robust baseline display footprint housing its original black rubber under-stopper plug, this authenticated designer bank handles ambient room lighting beautifully.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition! The heavy ceramic pottery bank body remains completely structurally flawless, exceptionally bright, and mirror-clean with absolutely no deep structural cracks, baseline hairline splits, edge fractures, glaze crazing, or repairs along the delicate ears, curly tail, or inner slot boundaries. The multi-colored artist glazes remain remarkably uniform, complete, and mirror-sharp throughout with no notable display surface shelf wear or handling friction fade. Original rubber base stopper is fully included and pliable.
Measurements: Tabletop individual novelty bank / decorative cabinet curio shelf-sitter scale. Measures approximately 4.5 inches long x 3.5 inches wide x 3.25 inches tall. Weight: Approx. 8 ounces.
Markings: The underside base footprint proudly preserves its authentic underglaze black factory artisan hallmarks reading text explicitly: \"Bella Casa by Ganz / © Susan Paley / Petunia\".
