This impressive approximately 11-inch-tall carving features Shou Lao with his characteristic oversized forehead, long flowing beard, traditional robes and staff. Particularly attractive details include what appear to be inlaid eyes and contrasting carved/inlaid teeth.
The figure is intricately carved throughout, including the robes, staff, symbolic elements and naturalistic carved base.
