This is a vintage royal (cobalt) blue Tally-Ho handled wine or whiskey decanter with stopper by Cambridge Glass Co. Made in Cambridge, Ohio, USA. The Tally-Ho or #1402 line was introduced in 1932 and although the line was continued into the early 1940s, the decanters had been discontinued by 1940. This #1402/39 is a collectible 34 oz. royal blue (cobalt) decanter with ring detailing complimented with a clear (with a slight tint) crystal stopper and an applied clear crystal handle. There is some \"shelf\" wear on the bottom. The stopper has a couple of chips and a crack, which cannot be seen when in the decanter, see photo.
This set is a really stunning piece of barware from the Art Deco era.
