Up for sale is a wonderful piece of early American baking history: an authentic antique/vintage solid wood recipe card storage box produced as an advertising premium for Gold Medal Flour by the Washburn Crosby Company (pre-General Mills era).
This box is exceptionally clean and displays premium early 20th-century craftsmanship, featuring tight finger/dovetail jointed corners and a gorgeous, rich oak wood grain finish. The front features the iconic, ornate dark metal brand label.
