Boopie glasses are a fun type of glassware that was popular in the mid-20th century. They are made of clear glass and have a base with a beaded rim. The name "boopie" is believed to be a derivative of the sound made by the glass when it is set down on a table. Boopie glasses went out of production in the 1970.
