Original Lomonosov horse, from before 1989 (USSR stamp under the horse)
Lomonosov Imperial Porcelain Horse Figurine. This unusual figurine is made of white, soft porcelain and was produced at the Lomonosov Imperial Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg. The figurine is HAND-PAINTED, so it may vary slightly in colour.
It is a perfect gift for animal lovers and a perfect addition to any porcelain lover/collector.
The original Lomonosov factory logo is found on the bottom. As well as a USSR stamp (showing it is from before 1989)
Material: soft porcelain. Manufactured in Russia by the Imperial Lomonosov Factory.
***Design Elements: The figurine depicts a foal resting or lying down, featuring hand-painted details.
***Marking Indicators: Authentic pieces are marked with the LFZ (Lomonosov Porcelain Factory) in Russian Cyrillic font, a factory monogram on the bottom of the figurine.
The colors of the stamp indicate the quality grade assigned during production at the factory.
***Colors are detailed below:
1) Red / Rust: First-quality grade pieces (most common for this export).
2) Blue: Second-quality grade pieces.
3) Green: Third-quality grade pieces.

***Condition: this beautiful resting Foal/horse figurine is in excellent used vintage 1980s condition. It is pristine, and free of any type of cracks, chips, crazing, dents or dings. It is in beautiful shape for its vintage age!
