Beautiful vintage handmade butterfly appliqué quilt featuring charming butterfly blocks, intricate hand stitching, and wonderful old-fashioned country charm.

This lovely quilt measures approximately 66” x 67” and features alternating butterfly appliqué blocks framed with dusty rose-brown sashing, soft cream backgrounds, and yellow patterned corner squares.
Each butterfly is individually appliquéd with decorative blanket stitching and embroidered details. The butterfly fabrics include cheerful multicolored polka dots and delicate vintage floral prints in soft yellow, pink, blue, and brown tones.
The quilt features beautiful, closely spaced hand quilting throughout, including decorative feather and oval quilting designs in the sashing and background areas.
The reverse features an attractive allover vintage floral print in muted brown, pink, yellow, and green tones.
This quilt is in vintage pre-owned condition with wear consistent with age and use.
There is noticeable wear and fraying along portions of the binding and edges, including areas where the batting is exposed. The fabric shows age-related fading, discoloration, spotting and general wear. Please review the close-up photographs carefully for these details.
Despite its age-related imperfections, this is a charming example of traditional handmade quilting, with beautiful handwork and an appealing butterfly design.
