This limited-edition piece was designed by the renowned American sculptor Philip Kraczkowski (famous for his classic Western art and designing the original 1960s G.I. Joe head mold) as part of his highly collectible "Greatness in America" Revolutionary War series for Hudson Pewter.
The sculpture dynamically depicts a pair of Continental Army artillerymen operating a siege cannon during the climactic 1781 Battle of Yorktown, complete with a molded stack of cannonballs and a powder barrel on the terrain. The pewter casting is securely mounted onto its original polished wooden presentation base.
