Vintage circa 1970s Coca-Cola advertising-style brass belt buckle featuring American opera singer Lillian Nordica holding a Coca-Cola bottle and fountain glass.
The front features raised lettering and imagery including:
Drink Coca-Cola
Lillian Nordica
At Fountains 5¢
Coca-Cola Company Atlanta, GA
The reverse has numerous markings, including A.J. Nash, 221 Regent St. London, Tiffany, X 7626, and “Awarded for Dancing Non-Stop 24 Hours.”
This buckle is from a series of later vintage reproductions/commemorative-style advertising buckles patterned after early advertising imagery. It is not being represented as an original early Tiffany & Co. or early Coca-Cola advertising buckle. The Tiffany name is described only because it appears as part of the markings on the reverse.
Nice collectible piece for Coca-Cola, vintage advertising, belt buckle, or Americana collectors.
