These are two vintage 1960s original Carl Bakula photographs taken to promote products for Dayton\'s department store in Minnesota. He was their commercial photographer for catalog and print.
Each measures 8\" x 10\".
These are NOT modern prints - these were printed by Carl back when he was working for Dayton\'s. We have a collection of these that will be listed and have been stored in large photo paper boxes for the last several decades.
Excellent condition except for a few light scratches and some light dents.
This photo is from the estate of Carl Bakula, who was an Army recon photographer during WWII and then went on to win awards for his work in New York and Minneapolis. He spent many years as the lead photographer for Dayton\'s department stores in Minnesota and his photos appeared in their catalogs, on their billboards, and in other promotional material. Dayton\'s was a department store chain that was started in Minneapolis in 1902 and now is part of Macy\'s.
These will be shipped in an envelope between cardboard stiffeners.
