Vtg 1959 Sams Beach Lounge Biloxi MS Souvenir Mug Fayes Ceramics Jamar Mallory For Sale

Up for sale is a rare, authentic piece of Mississippi Gulf Coast history: a vintage 1959 souvenir tankard mug from Sam’s Beach Lounge, located at 400 Central Beach in Biloxi, MS. This mid-century piece was poured and beautifully hand-painted locally by Faye’s Ceramics in Biloxi (retaining its original studio foil sticker on the reverse). The bottom is officially signed and dated with the iconic "Jamar © 59" mold hallmark from renowned ceramic designer Jamar Mallory. Featuring a whimsical, stylized fish illustration, this incredibly well-documented pre-Hurricane Camille survivor is a must-have for collectors of vintage kitsch, local Mississippi pottery, and lost coastal Americana.
