Vtg 1951 Pennsylvania Railroad PRR Dinner Menu Cherry Blossom Tour Mount Vernon For Sale

This is a wonderful vintage dinner menu from the historic Pennsylvania Railroad, dated April 6, 1951. The menu was for a 'Columbus Dispatch Cherry Blossom Tour' special train. The front cover features a beautiful illustration of Mount Vernon, home of General George Washington, highlighting its location 15 miles south of Washington, D.C. The inside details the dinner offerings, including Cream of Mushroom Soup, a choice of Pot Roast of Beef or Roast Stuffed Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Green Snap Beans, Dinner Rolls, Butter, Vanilla Ice Cream, Tea, Coffee, and Milk. A fantastic piece of railroadiana and historical paper ephemera, perfect for collectors of railroad memorabilia, vintage menus, or Mount Vernon history. The menu shows signs of age and wear consistent with its vintage nature, including some light creasing and minor discoloration, but remains a well-preserved artifact.
