Up for sale is an exceptionally rare, authentic vintage point-of-sale cardboard advertising sign for "Free Flowing Traffic Motor Oil - Big 2 Gallon Can" (a historic Gulf Oil brand). This original service station piece features classic Art Deco / Streamline Moderne artwork of an orange 1940s fat-fender sedan speeding across the top, set against crisp sunburst graphics. Large, surviving cardstock gas and oil displays like this are virtually impossible to find, as most were discarded or destroyed after the promotion ended.
You could frame this up and it would be a serious talking point for anybody's collection—it has massive visual appeal and would look incredible mounted under UV acrylic or glass in a gameroom, garage, or curated petroliana showroom.

Displays very well with bold, vibrant colors. The orange automobile graphic and blue field lettering are crisp and clean, and the car artwork itself is in great shape. It does show authentic age and character, including water tide-line staining/discoloration primarily along the outer right edge, lower corners, and back (it stays out of the car graphic). There is minor corner and edge bumping/wear consistent with age and storage. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.
