This is a vintage Crown Staffordshire fine bone china teacup and saucer set. The exterior of the cup features a vibrant emerald green background with an intricate heavy gold chintz floral pattern. It has a crisp white interior with a mixed floral bouquet of pink roses, blue, white, and yellow blossoms. This bouquet, slightly smaller, also appears in the center of the saucer. I think these bouquets are hand painted, or at least hand embellished, but I can\'t say with complete certainty. They are not identical, and are lightly textured.
The set stands 3\" high, and the saucer is about 5.5\" in diameter. The rims of both pieces are gently scalloped and edged in gold. This set should be washed by hand. I was unable to find the name of this discontinued pattern, but the number is A14772. This number is printed by hand on the bottom of both pieces, which also are stamped with the green \"Fine Bone China, Crown Staffordshire, England\" marking. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. This is an exceptionally pretty set in excellent condition. The color is striking, and it displays beautifully!
