This antique 1920s - 1930s German porcelain figural table lamp, depicting a courtship scene (a horseman and a woman offering a goblet) is in great working condition. There are no cracks or chips. There is a tiny unglazed spot on the base; something likely adhered to it during processing and was subsequently removed.
This lamp does not have its original shade.
The lamp is designed in the Victorian style and features hand-painted decoration in shades of purple and white with gold accents.
The lamp was made in Germany in 1920s - 1930s; the mold numberβ5810βis marked on the base.
The composition depicts a \"musketeer on horseback and a woman offering a goblet\" (a courtship scene), a motif characteristic of the Dresden or Meissen style.
