This lot offers a remarkably complete, cohesive historical paper ephemera archive chronicling the educational and professional journey of Anna Katrine MacGregor in Southern California during the 1920s and 1930s. Rather than being pieced together, this estate collection has remained entirely intact, offering a wonderful primary-source narrative of women's achievements in early 20th-century education.The archive spans from 1921 to 1934, charting her progression from a specialized penmanship student to a praised Los Angeles school teacher and Cum Laude graduate of the University of Southern California (USC).--- ARCHIVE INVENTORY AND HIGHLIGHTS ---1. 1923 A.N. Palmer Signed Recommendation Letter and Original Envelope
  • Format: Typed Letter Signed (TLS) on official, historic "The A.N. Palmer Company" letterhead (Pasadena, CA office). Dated April 9th, 1923.
  • Signature: Hand-signed in ink by Austin Norman Palmer (1860–1927), the legendary creator of the globally dominant "Palmer Method" of penmanship. The signature is bold, crisp, and serves as a classic textbook example of his famous "muscular movement" business writing.
