DESCRIPTION:

Up for sale is a compelling pair of original vintage 1920s-1930s Black Americana studio portraits from the renowned Woodard's Studio in Chicago, sourced directly from an early estate in Ephrata, Pennsylvania.

Details & Highlights:

- Size: Each piece measures approximately 7" x 9.5".

- Pair Includes:

1. Full-length portrait of a woman in a velvet coat/robe with a luxurious fur collar standing by drapes (striking theatrical / Vaudeville glamour style).

2. Bust-length portrait of a stylish gentleman wearing a fedora hat and overcoat, lower right "Woodard's Studio" 

- Construction: Authentic single-sheet studio prints with built-in border exposure masks.

- Framing: Bound under plexiglass in the classic early 20th-century Passe-Partout style using crimped copper foil metallic tape around the outer rim. Sticker residue to bottoms.

- Backing: Clear plastic stick-on display hangers applied to reverse for wall hanging.

Condition:

Very good vintage condition overall. Paper shows light natural age patina and toning typical for period silver gelatin/sepia prints. Copper foil tape binding remains intact with minor crinkling/wear at the corners. Please examine all photos closely for exact physical condition and detail.
