A little history about company The VEF plant (Valsts Elektrotehniskā Fabrika) was the largest electrotechnical enterprise in Latvia - a leading manufacturer of PBXs, telephone switches, telephone sets, radio stations, radio receivers, and other products. The company was founded in April 1919. VEF radio receivers became the calling card of the plant. At the international exhibitions of 1935 in Brussels and 1937 in Paris, devices under the VEF brand won the Grand Prix. In the late 1990s, the plant was reorganized and production was closed. A short description - In very good condition radioVEF-206(1970s, USSR)is arare vintage radio. Radio is not currently in production.

- connector for connecting an external power supply (9V).
Operates on from six R-20 type elements.One set of batteries, at an average listening volume, lasts for 200 hours of operation.
