Vintage rOtring 600 TRIO Multi Pen — Original 1990s Production
This is an original 1990s rOtring 600 Trio, not the current reissue. The giveaway is the barrel logo: it\'s the red PRINTED \"rOtring 600\" logo of the original production — the modern reissues have an engraved logo. Original Trio pens have become genuinely hard to find, especially in black. This is the Japan production.
Three functions in one pen, selected with the selector at the end of the pen (color dot indicators):- Blue ballpoint- Red ballpoint- 0.7mm mechanical pencil
Heavy all-metal hexagonal barrel with a knurled grip — the classic 600 feel. Substantial in the hand, and the hex barrel won\'t roll off the desk.
TESTED AND WORKING: I tested the pen — the selector mechanism switches between functions as it should, and the pencil mechanism advances lead properly. Please note: only ONE ink refill is installed — the other ballpoint slot is empty. The Trio takes standard D1 multipen refills, which are inexpensive and widely available. Drop one in and all three functions are ready to go.
Condition: Pre-owned with light wear, shown honestly in the photos. One facet of the barrel is lighter where the black finish has worn (see photo 2), and there is a hint of brassing along one hex edge (see photo 3). No dents, no cracks, knurling is crisp, and the printed logo is clean and legible. No box or case — pen only, exactly as shown.
