Vintage c1970 Caesars Palace Las Vegas Casino Dice Pair Green #358 For Sale

Vintage Caesars Palace Las Vegas Casino Dice – Matching #538 Green Pair – Circa Late 1960s/Early 1970s

Offered is a matching pair of vintage Caesars Palace Las Vegas casino dice, both carrying the same #538 issue/batch number.

These are the desirable older translucent green style featuring classic Caesars Palace graphics, including the “CAESARS PALACE – LAS VEGAS” lettering surrounding the ace pip and the distinctive Caesar figure on the two face.

Both dice are marked 538, making this a proper matching-number pair rather than two unrelated Caesars Palace dice.

Caesars Palace opened in 1966, and surviving examples of this same translucent green style—including other dice carrying batch number 538—have been attributed to the early 1970s. Based on the design and known comparable examples, I would estimate this pair as circa late 1960s to early 1970s, most likely early 1970s. Exact year of manufacture is unknown.

Features include:

• Vintage Caesars Palace Las Vegas casino dice
• Translucent emerald-green composition
• CAESARS PALACE – LAS VEGAS ace-face logo
• Classic Caesar figure emblem
• White flush pips
• Matching #538 issue/batch numbers
• Sharp-edged precision casino-dice construction
• Excellent Old Las Vegas / casino display used condition with surface scratches, light rubbing and other wear consistent with age and handling. At some point in the past, the two dice were taped together with Scotch tape, and there are visible tape/adhesive remnants on portions of the five-pip faces. Lettering, graphics and #538 markings remain clear and attractive. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition.

The fact that they were previously taped together may also help explain why this matching #538 pair remained together over the years.

A very appealing collectible for anyone interested in Caesars Palace, vintage Las Vegas, casino gaming memorabilia, craps, gambling history, or classic Old Vegas collectibles.

You will receive the exact pair shown in the photographs.
