Vintage cast iron “Dumb Dutch” trivet by Wilton Products, pattern T-5, dating to the 1950s. This classic Pennsylvania Dutch design features a hex-sign star at top, a central heart flanked by tassels, and a pair of birds below — traditional folk-art symbols of protection, luck, and love found throughout Pennsylvania Dutch decorative arts.
The piece is marked “DUMB DUTCH” and “T-5” on the reverse, along with a “T D” foundry mark.
