Vintage Westmoreland Glossy Transparent Cobalt Blue "Wise Ole Owl" on Books Glass Figurine
The listing is for an intricately molded owl with detailed feathers perched atop a square pedestal designed to look like a stack of two books. Functional desk paperweight or nostalgic library accent.

1. ery good vintage condition. Glossy Transparent Cobalt Blue with air bubble in chest area. No chips or cracks.
2. Mold Line on bottom: Factory seams follow a strictly logical, geometric path. On the Westmoreland Owl, mold lines run perfectly straight and vertically up the exact center of both sides of the owl, and form a distinct geometric square or cross on the underside of the book base.The raised line on the bottom of the piece is the mold line (physical ridge of excess glass that projects outward at the end of the ridge).
3. Measures approx. 3-1/2" tall x 1-3/4" long x 1-1/2" wide.
4. Produced by Westmoreland Glass Company of Grapeville, PA in the mid to late 20th century.
5. Stamped with the Westmoreland hallmark embossed near the owl's feet or on the base.
