Vintage Westclox Travalarm 42004 ivory travel alarm clock with luminous hands and dial. A classic mid-century modern design featuring a ribbed ivory case, brass-tone trim, sliding front shutter, and folding stand.
The back is embossed TRAVALARM and marked MADE IN U.S.A. The ivory Travalarm is identified as Westclox sales number 42004. This style dates to the mid-century period and is consistent with a 1950s example.
CONDITION: FOR PARTS OR REPAIR / NOT WORKING
The clock does not wind properly. The winding key turns and makes a clicking sound several times, then stops and will not continue winding. I have not forced the mechanism or opened the clock. The clock is being sold as nonworking and for repair or parts.
The luminous hands/dial are visible in the dark, as shown in the photos.
The ivory case has age-related discoloration, light surface marks and wear consistent with its age. Please review all photos carefully for the overall condition.
