Vintage Wear-Ever No. 8 aluminum cone food strainer/sieve with tripod stand and handled upper pan. Made in the USA and marked Patent 1,556,275.
This classic kitchen tool was designed for straining and processing foods such as cooked fruits, vegetables, sauces and preserves. Similar Wear-Ever cone strainers were commonly used for applesauce, tomatoes, jams and other home-canning preparations.
Details: Wear-Ever brand; No. 8 model; aluminum construction with metal tripod stand; Made in USA; approximately 11–12 inches overall height based on your measurement photos, with the upper pan roughly 9 inches across. Includes exactly what is pictured. Wooden pestle is not included.
