This rare, complete matching set of 12 vintage Wallace punch cups was rescued from decades of deep storage neglect. Buried under heavy black oxidation, they were meticulously restored over a grueling two-week period. They underwent a gentle, non-destructive chemical reduction process using hot water, baking soda, and aluminum foil to lift the tarnish without harming the underlying silver plate. They were then deeply hand-polished to bring back their brilliant, mirror-like reflection. A few cups still feature their original paper factory labels on the bottom—these were entirely hand-polished to preserve their historical integrity!Design & Features:
Crafted by the legendary Wallace Silversmiths, these heavy-weight cups boast an incredible flared everted rim and a breathtaking baroque handle sculpted into a detailed Gryphon / Sea Monster motif. This is a true, complete service for 12, making it perfect for upscale holiday entertaining, a vintage home bar display, or high-end eggnog and punch service.Honest Condition Details:
